Thank you if you’ve been following along with my new newsletter Sow, Grow, Harvest, Rest: an online creative almanac inspired by my Celtic roots. It’s had such a wonderful response already, and I’ve got so many exciting plans for this year!
As we’re now a week into the New Year, I wanted to let you know my plans for this seasonal space. Firstly, after a bumper December giving a flavour of what the newsletter would be about, for 2022 – and in the spirit of slowness and simplicity – I wanted to let you know be shifting to two newsletters a week on a Wednesday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Sign up today to get this evening’s newsletter!
I’ll be following the structure of the Celtic Wheel of the Year, the solstices, equinoxes and their midpoints: Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lùnastal, Mabon, Samhain and Yule. For each of the eight, roughly six-week periods I’ll be sharing seasonal to do lists, nature notes, recipes and craft projects inspired by the period leading up to and just after each of these seasonal celebrations.
I want to provide you with the keys to reconnect with the rhythms of the year: times to sow, times to grow, times to harvest and times to rest. I’m brimming with ideas that I can’t wait to share, including the possibility of a private members community with bonus content and activities later in the year – watch this space. This week I’ve kicked things off with an introduction to Imbolc, a time in-between deepest Winter and the dawn of Spring.
I’ll still be posting a new recipe here in Everything Looks Rosie tradition every Sunday (I have a streak to maintain – I’ve posted a new recipe every Sunday without a break since 2014!), but do sign up for my newsletter for updates on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well.
