My longtime love of Boden needs no introduction and this Autumn/Winter I’m excited to be working with the company once more, this time in the capacity of Boden Partner – an ambassador for the brand. This means I’ll be sharing monthly outfit posts on my Instagram with products I’ve kindly been gifted and – excitingly for you guys too – I have this clever link that means you lovely readers get 20% off any time. Just click here and it will automatically apply the discount when you go to your basket to checkout. Exciting huh?!
Of course I’ll still be shopping with my considered ethos, only selecting pieces that I know will work hard in my existing wardrobe and be suitable for both day job and downtime. Enter the Colette pinafore in forest green (aptly called ‘midnight garden’ by Boden) corduroy – ideal for weekends with a fun coat and chunky boots, or for work with a tailored jacket and brogues. Either way I’m wearing it with my favourite vintage blouses – this one with Broderie Anglaise details is from the 1970s!
Whether worn for work or play I adore this pinafore. It’s a lovely heavy duty cord and is beautifully fitted. In fact I could see all the work that had been put into the darts and details when I looked at the images prior to purchasing so sized up so I can fit a roll neck underneath when it gets really cold. I’ve worn it loads since it arrived (you may have seen it on my Instagram already) and it always receives compliments.
This weekend I wore my pinafore for a trip to the countryside where my Dundee boots got their debut. Made from soft yet sturdy leather, lined with shearling and complete with gorgeous red detailing they are so incredibly cosy. Paired with my past season Boden mohair coat (I’m coveting this pink number now) I’m certainly Winter ready.
What are you coveting from Boden AW19?
Dress and boots c/o Boden; coat c/o Boden (past season); vintage blouse; Mulberry bag.
