About

Everything Looks Rosie began in 2010: ten years on and I’m still sharing my bakes, slow, seasonal living ideas, and occasional outfits and Scottish adventures.

There’s a new baking post here every Sunday, where I share my weekly Rosie Makes from my kitchen to yours. These posts are inspired by the seasons and I like to put my own spin on traditional recipes with a twist.

I regularly share seasonal and slow living tips alongside the odd snippets of what I’ve been wearing, including my latest thrifting finds – I’m a huge lover of vintage fashion and homewares – you can’t beat a bargain. I’m also passionate about all things local, independent and sustainable.

Over the years, I’ve written, shot and art directed content for the following brands on my blog and Instagram, among others:

  • Boden (Boden Partner, styling)
  • Laura Ashley (producing content for the Laura Ashley blog and curating a #LauraAshleyTakeover on Instagram)
  • John Lewis (crafting)
  • Denby (styling)
  • Scottish Government (environmental paid partnership)
  • Papier (styling)
  • Bloom & Wild (styling).

Edinburgh is the place I am lucky enough to call home and I love sharing my adventures around the capital and beyond, whether old favourites or new kids on the block. Check out my Slow Living Edinburgh Guide for more of my favourite local spots.

In a past life I was a Times-published journalist and Everything Looks Rosie is where I now channel my loves of writing, styling, food, interiors and photography. I very much hope you enjoy reading my blog.
