It Looks Rosie

As a lover of all things fashion, of course I’m as in love with Topshop as the next girl. But that’s just the problem. Do I want to be wearing the exact same things as the next girl? The next girl who religiously buys up the whole of Topshop whenever they get in new stock?

Though I’m a big fan, I feel their stockΒ comes in cycles, there will be a week where there are five gorgeous things I have to have, and my credit card groans. Then a couple of weeks later things are looking a bit dodgy and I don’t want anything as it’s all a bit anaemic or more of the same, or just odd. Subconsciously trying to allow my credit card to draw breath? Maybe. I think it’s more that I’m honest about the capabilities of a shop- they can’t constantly churn out immaculate designs that the insatiable public now expect relentlessly. Lots of people buy things purely because they’re from Topshop, and though I don’t dispute that it’s the High Street leader I don’t think one shop can define my whole style.

Here’s an outfit with several items from Topshop in there, I try not to do this too often but sometimes it happens.

Hairband: Accessorize
Dress: Topshop
Belt: Topshop
Ring: H&M
Bag: Topshop
Suspender Tights: Topshop
Shoes (just seen): Office
